\n\\([\\vec{a}, \\vec{b}, \\vec{c}]=\\left|\\begin{array}{ccc} 1 & -2 & 3 \\\\ 2 & -3 & 1 \\\\ 3 & 1 & -2 \\end{array}\\right|\\) = 1(6 – 1)+2(- 4 – 3) + 3(2 + 9) = 1(5) + 2(- 7) + 3(11) = 24.<\/p>\n

\nLet \\(\\vec{a}=\\hat{i}-\\hat{j}+\\hat{k}\\), \\(\\vec{b}=3 \\hat{i}+\\hat{j}+2 \\hat{k}\\) and \\(\\vec{c}=\\hat{i}+\\lambda \\hat{j}-3 \\hat{k}\\) be the given vectors.
