The sounds of chirping birds, and a flowing brook or stream seem beautiful to me. The poet means that the sounds in nature which exist, but are not considered to be music in the traditional sense, are very sweet and pleasing to the ear. Yes, it happens quite a lot that I hear a song in my head, long after the song was played.
I believe that such a song is called an earworm.

Can you rewrite the phrases used in the poem? Why do you think the poet uses the shorter phrases?
Answer:
Wind that is making a sighing sound; rain that is falling pitter-patter, a singer who is chanting. The poet uses the shorter phrases to make his poem sound good and lyrical, like a song.

But if I was completely in the right, I would definitely take a stand against such a person, if need be.

Yes, I would surely tell Makara about his mistake if I were the baby crocodile. I would tell him how his actions are affecting life in the forest.
